Melolo.ai (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform" or "Melolo.ai") attaches great importance to intellectual property protection and strictly abides by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws and regulations. We have established a complete complaint handling mechanism for copyright infringement involving novels and other content on the Platform to fully safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of right holders.
Any copyright right holder or their legally authorized agent may submit a written infringement notice to us in accordance with the requirements of this Statement if they believe content on the Platform infringes their copyright interests. Upon receiving a notice that meets statutory requirements, we will conduct a timely investigation in strict accordance with DMCA provisions and take necessary disposal measures including, but not limited to, removing infringing content, disabling relevant links, and restricting or terminating corresponding access permissions.
Pursuant to the DMCA, your copyright infringement notice must contain all the information set forth below in full; otherwise, it will be deemed invalid and we may not launch the official investigation and handling process:
1.Proof of Right Holder Identity: Full legal name of the copyright right holder; if you are an authorized agent, a valid authorization document issued by the right holder shall also be provided. The notice shall bear an electronic or physical signature of the right holder or their authorized agent.
2.Statement of Ownership: Clearly list the names and types of protected works for which you claim rights, together with corresponding ownership certification materials. If a single complaint covers multiple works, a list of works and relevant ownership materials may be submitted together.
3.Location Information of Alleged Infringing Content: Accurately and clearly specify the exact location of the suspected infringing content on the Platform, including but not limited to the complete URL of the corresponding page, novel name & chapter number, to ensure we can precisely locate and verify relevant content.
4.Complainant Contact Information: Valid contact details of the complainant, including full name/entity name, mailing address, telephone number and commonly used email address.
5.Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have sufficient reasonable grounds to believe the complained content is used without authorization from the copyright owner or their legal agent, and does not fall under legally permitted fair use, thus constituting copyright infringement.
6.Truthfulness Undertaking: A statement that all information provided in the notice is true, accurate and complete, you are authorized to file this complaint on behalf of the copyright owner, and you acknowledge that false statements may incur legal liabilities related to perjury.
The Platform has appointed a dedicated copyright agent to receive DMCA infringement complaints. Contact information is as follows: Complaint Email: support@melolo.ai
Email Subject Rule: Please mark "DMCA Copyright Infringement Complaint" in the email subject for our rapid identification and priority processing.
Melolo.ai reserves the right to take disciplinary actions against users or entities verified to have committed repeated copyright infringements. Depending on the severity of violations, we may impose the following measures individually or in combination: restricting Platform access functions, permanently banning accounts, removing all relevant infringing content, and reserving the right to pursue legal liabilities.
If you believe content posted or lawfully usable by you has been wrongly removed or its links disabled, you may submit a Counter-Notification to us in accordance with DMCA provisions for appeal. A valid counter-notice must contain all the information below:
1.Your full legal name/entity name, mailing address, telephone number and email address, with an electronic or physical signature by yourself or your authorized representative.
2.Detailed description of the content that was removed or had its links disabled, as well as its original access URL on the Platform prior to removal.
3.A statement that you have reasonable grounds to believe the removal or link suspension resulted from a misjudgment.
4.A statement consenting to accept judicial service and legal documents from courts with competent jurisdiction at the Platform’s location.
After receiving a compliant counter-notice, we will forward a copy to the original complainant. If we receive no response from the complainant within fifteen (15) working days after forwarding, we reserve the right to restore the removed content or reinstate corresponding access links.
Certain paid content on the Platform will redirect to independently operated third-party platforms owned by copyright holders. Copyright review, ownership management and infringement liability identification for such redirected content shall be borne solely by the corresponding copyright owners.
If you believe content on a redirected third-party platform infringes your copyright interests, you are advised to contact the relevant copyright holder directly for resolution in the first instance; you may also submit a complaint to us, and we will disable the corresponding redirect link promptly after verification.
Except as otherwise explicitly required by law, Melolo.ai shall not be obligated to review or warrant the copyright compliance status of third-party platform content.
1.This Statement only applies to the handling of copyright infringement complaints within the scope of the Platform and does not constitute legal advice in any form.
2.We may revise this Statement from time to time in response to updates in laws and regulations or business adjustments; revised versions shall take effect upon official publication on the Platform.
3.For complaints and feedback unrelated to copyright infringement, please submit separate explanations via the email above.
