At The End Of Love
Synopsis of At The End Of Love
Chapter 1
When I miscarried due to a car accident, Aidan Brown drove past my car with his Beta.
He glanced at the blood on the ground in disdain and covered Seraphina Gross’s curious eyes.
“Don’t look at this horrible sight. It’s bad luck.”
I tried to use mind-link to call him when I saw his car.
However, he did not respond to me, and his car disappeared from my sight.
That night, I saw the lipstick stain on his shirt collar and smiled bitterly.
I felt pain shoot through my heart.
I immediately understood what it meant. I called the Alpha of the Valoria pack.
“Kieran Wesley, I’ve thought it through. I’ll join your company next week.”
The moment I ended the call, Aidan Brown walked into the bedroom.
I started coughing from the cigarette smoke, but he only stared at the phone with loving eyes.
In the past, I used to scold him for always forgetting his phone because I could never reach him.
As of late, he kept his phone on him at all times, so much so that he even brought his phone into the shower.
A sweet smile immediately appeared on his cold face.
“What were you talking about?”
He was still looking at his phone while talking to me. He did not even want to spare a glance at me.
I answered honestly and told him that I had agreed to Kieran Wesley’s invitation.
Aidan did not react. He only nodded.
I might even miss his subtle nod if I did not look closely.
His behavior did not surprise me.
I had already gotten used to him ignoring me.
This time, I did not put up a fight. I calmly turned on my laptop and typed out a divorce agreement.
He suddenly laughed. He picked up his jacket and prepared to leave, but he realized his usually ironed clothes were covered in wrinkles.
He finally glanced at me.
“Liora, it was just a fall, and it’s not serious. You’ll recover soon.”
I continued typing and answered coldly, “Alright.”
Aidan was right. Werewolves like us could recover very fast.
These minor injuries were practically nothing to us.
I was able to recover from the physical injuries, but what about the emotional pain from the miscarriage?
The accident had taken away my child, and it destroyed the very last bit of hope that I had toward Aidan.
When I lay on the hospital bed, I could only hear the doctor’s helpless sigh.
He said if I had been sent to the hospital just a bit earlier, my child would not have died.
Aidan sensed my estrangement as he frowned unhappily.
Just when he was about to walk over to see what was on my laptop screen, his phone buzzed.
It only took a single glance at his phone, and his displeasure was immediately gone. He went into his study in excitement.
I smiled mockingly. I used my fake account to view Aidan’s social media profile.
He had hidden
